The 3-night Kaweskar Route sails every Tuesday and Friday at 5:00 pm from Puerto Natales. From Puerto Natales, you start your trip through Angostura Kirke, sailind due north of the Morla Vicuna, Senio Union, Collingwood, Sarmiento, Concepcion, and Wide Channels.
As you sail these channels and fjords, you become entranced by the landscape's sharp contrasts of light and shade. Mountains merge with a sea full of islands, in a land rent by winds where glaciers continue their age-old task of pulverizing rock, creating valleys and huge channels that were explored by legendary sailors such as Ladrillero, Darwin, Fitz Roy, and many more.
In the region of Magellanes, you can visit very old and recently developed towns alike. Visit them and discover their past, walk their streets, and explore their many features, all of which will delight you. On this Kaweskar Route, you will visit Punta Arenas, Puerto Natales, and Puerto Eden, but you will also have the chance to visit tiny villages that capture your attention either before or after your cruise.
Nature in this zone has an extremely varied flora and fauna. Liles, cormorants, quetros, albacore, dolphins; cypresses, lengas, Antarctic beech trees, ferns, etc. will astonish those who love the world and are ecologically sensitive. During the cruise, you will see a varity of birds on the islands' rocky ledges. You'll also see albacore and dolphins playing next to the ship. The fauna in this area is still absolutely wild, and for this reason, you will be asked to care for them and their environment.
Temperatures on this route range between 5 and 12 degrees C from spring to autumn, and 12 and 20 degrees C during the summer.
